1926 Far-Right TANNENBERGBUND Badge. Good looking and well-marked, zinc-based 1926 badge for an early event held by the TANNENBERGBUND which was a far right party founded in 1925 by German Army General Erich Ludendorff attacking freemasons, Jews, Communists and Jesuits and adopting the swastika as its symbol with the party being banned when Hitler came to power with many members joining the NSDAP with the party finally being suppressed at the time of Ludendorff’s death in 1937.
