German Body Armor From WW1 with US Vet’s Info. This set was captured in 1918 and was handed down throughout the years through the family and consists of the top piece that hangs over the shoulders and the bottom piece that would go over the crotch area. There would also be two smaller plates that would hang between these two pieces that have been lost to time. The straps are intact and the original paint is still on the pieces. I usually see these in ground dug shape or restored so to find this lot here is quite fortunate.
