Kriegsmarine E-Boat Badge, First Pattern, French-Made. The Kriegsmarine had bases in Occupied France and a French firm took advantage of this fact making badges for the German Navy. All French made German Navy badges utilized the same hinge, catch and pin assemblies. These badges are all die forged and all are zinc based being rarer than their German made counterparts.
