Spange to The Iron Cross, First Class 1939 by Mayer with Case And Titled Cardboard Carton Choice!. Great looking example that although unmarked was made by Mayer. This is an early silver-plated, tombac-based piece in original case of issue. This is about a nice as an example as you are going to get as it has the original case and also the titled outer protective cardboard carton which was often discarded. The carton has a 4 cm tear on the top that is not detractive. Excellent, rare and choice! Vet family purchase by me in the summer of 2020. (8144bll)
